Dave Quensell back left, Mike Bonser front right - Outside St. Cuthberts

Michael Lynch recognises Davy Quensell, ??, Michael Lynch, Frankie Bone, Terry McCallum, the late Billy McNabola, ? Walsh. and 4th from right Eddie Kelly

Dave Quensell (extreme left) adds that in front of him is Peter Emmerson. In front of the little lad with the light coloured Gansey is Colin Welch who Dave believes went on to become a master mariner in later years. Billy McNabola, behind Colin, was a steward in the merchant navy and drowned in Freemantle (Australia) where he is buried. The officer just visible above the head of the 3rd cadet from the right is Lieutenat Commander Bill Irwin.
