St. Aloysuis Juniors 1918

Thanks to Patrick Brennan for this photo of St Aloysius FC from the 1918-1919 season, when they won the Mid-Tyne League. Unfortunately he can only identify one person - the priest (Father Patrick Laydon) on the right of the picture who his my great-uncle. The Laydon family lived at 24 Victoria Road, and had a grocer's shop at the corner of William Street and Bewick Street.

Eddie Lynch is 2nd in from the right middle row.
