DAYTRIP (about 1920)

Daytrip

Smashing photo supplied by Mrs. Moseley. This is a family photo from her grandfather's collection (Mr Tuff who is sitting at the front)

Stewart Anderson has since emailed to say "I have found the same exact photo amongst a collection of family photo's belonging to a late aunt. It shows my grandfather William C. Anderson standing on the rear steps, one of his daughters, Lydia Anderson, then aged about 11 (married name Wappat) she is a young girl somewhere at the back of the vehicle, it was apparently taken on a chapel daytrip from High Lane Row. The photo I have is exact in every detail to hers, it shows the mark going from the bottom of the photo upto the rear wheel. This mark must be a photographers error as this is an original and must have been shown on all photo's produced." .
