Having Fun for Charity

Thanks to Andy Stevenson for these photos, which include a couple of photos of Hebburn lads who worked at Swan Hunter, Wallsend raising money for CHUF (children's heart unit fund at Freeman Hospital).

They played a 48 hours snooker marathon 17th-19th Jan 1986

Jimmy Mulligan, Billy Campbell, Dave McKenna, Andy Stevenson & Andy Gray + 3 local celebs including little Billy Fane. Janet Baxter tells us that her brother Billy Campbell is in this photograph. They were raising money for the Childrens heart unit fund and Freemans Hospital, this was one of many events our family had after our nephew was born with a bad heart, he is now a healthy 23 year old.
