Another contribiution from Len Stephenson

The three apprentices standing at the rear of the left hand photo are Ian Willis, Len himself and Bill Fullerton on the right. Sitting on the left is Bill Boyse who was the chief draughtsman.Next to him seated is Ronnie Stephenson who used to cycle in everyday from Whitley Bay.

In the second photo Ronnie Stephenson, Bill Fullerton, Ian Willis and Len are having a game of pontoon during a lunch hour break. Len recalls that it wasn't a large drawing office, maybe about 12 or 14 including the two "designers".
