John Shearer tels us that the bike is a AJS 350 cc single. Their father also had Norton 500cc Dommi 88 and lived behind the Elmfield Social Club where he worked in the yards.
Ray Wilkie tells us that "two of the kids are Harry Woodleys children. The boy is his son Alan but I'm not sure which one of the girls is his. As John Shearer pointed out Harry lived near the Elmfield as was pretty popular with the biking fraternity because he was a whiz with motorbikes. Harry's daughter is called Linda".
