This website was established in the late 1990s to provide a friendly point of contact for Hebburn folk near and far. The site is independently owned, having no connection whatsoever with any official or political organisation. It is also privately funded and derives no income of any sort from advertising or commercial sponsorship. However, it has been consistently supported by small donations from its many friends and visitors.
The site has amassed a large collection of local photos which can be accessed from the left hand menu. The old school photos are particularly popular.
There is also a thriving, friendly message board which attracts discussions, questions and requests for help on anything which is even vaguely Hebburn related. However, some issues are regarded as off-topic (including soap-boxing, politics and Mackem/Toon footy stuff). Please read the board's rules before you make your first post. The message board, which will open in a new window can be accessed here.
Hebburn Folk ReUnited is a very simple contact service, based on a guest book. Register your details if you are trying to get in touch with old friends. Giving a a bit of information about yourself and a quick update on how your life has turned out usually helps encourage folk to make contact. Hebburn Folk ReUnited is here
Soon after this site's foundation, Norman Dunn, one of its main contributors and supporters began his own photo site - which has since mushroomed to more than 200 pages and spawned 3 very successful DVDs. Because the two sites have such a strong bond, Norman's site (which is sponsored by Andrew Craig) is always accessible from this site's left hand menu.
